yep, all gone very quiet in these virtual parts, no real reason, just pretty busy with work, was up until recently fairly busy with training for the London Marathon, and really TBH had nothing that interesting to write…
(still haven’t on the latter)
Work, busy as ever, loads of stuff going on, some of which are interesting (which is good)
Training, well I’m currently in physio for a diagnosed foot injury which was labelled as a fatty pad injury or a possible stress fracture, however the end diagnoses is that it is a problem with my nerves, and in particular with the nerves down my left leg.
And so my motorbike accident has a longer than expected hangover…
That really gets on my nerves. Although obviously more so on your part
stupid bike.
Was a great toy while I had it, certainly meant I got to any destination (even work) with a smile on my face.
So what’s the long-term prognosis?
Pretty good, physio is going well, and it would seem that the nerve is running freely within its sheath, just a case of continuing to work on stretching the nerve.
So progress, not sure about my chances of doing the marathon this year, but then I’m not that worried about it, getting this sorted out is more important as the long term effects could be quite disabling.
Euww yeah … sounds like the priority has to be the nerve rather than the poxy marathon. You don’t seem too peeved. Glad to hear it. No doubt it won’t stop you frequenting the triathlon scene a little later in the year … and luckily there’s an FLA every single year if you decide it’s not sensible to do it this time. Happy recovery.
Clearly I meant FLM!
Clearly… of course there is always the London to Brighton run
That’s a terribly long way …
