Honest Plumber
Came across something amazing, an honest plumber.... having had 3 different plumbers around to the house to provide a quote for fitting out the bathroom and having actually received no quotes so far we finally came across that rarest of beasts.
The Honest Plumber
One of the houses down the road seems to be having some work done, so as we were still without quote I thought I'd go and ask if this chap was a) a plumber and if he was b) would he like to do a quote for our bathroom...
HP : You live down in that row (pointing to our house)
Me : Yes
HP : No, I wouldn't like to provide a quote... the parking is a nightmare
Me : Oh, erm well thanks for being up front about it...
And there you go, just another reason why we haven't had a quote yet to add to the complexity of the job...
*sigh*
must be nice to be in a position to turn down work, clearly I'm in the wrong job.

Are they any honest plumber?
I have been ringing 5 plumbers so far. They all gave me an appointment to come and give me a quote for a boiler replacement. However, No one turned up and none of them rung to give a reason why they were not coming!!!!
Is this attitude part of their curiculum? was this thought to them in school to always ignore people you are giving the service to? No wonder why so many people are willing to drop their work and go and do another carreer in plumbing. Sorry Guys I have not found a honest plumber so far!!! Will definitly try foreign plumbers....
