ah, the old "knock at the door from the Police" trick...
some fucking scumbag(s) broke into my car and lifted the stereo, hope they like kylie and mika... (shame the GPS and car kit will never work for them!)
Guess I'll be going by train this morning to work then rather than driving in and then going for a run.
(training so far this week - zero)
oh and it's a bit freaky when while getting the crime report number the police man confirms my details to the "voice" on the end of the phone and the response back is "originally from Leighton Buzzard?"

The annoying thing is they will have sold your stereo for £20 down the pub - if they had knocked at your door and said "give us £20 or we will break into your car and cause untold damage" it would have been a better move - esp. as you would have had the satisfaction of telling them "no". I hate pikey's.
