Stuck in a chav paradise

So the weekend in Dubhai is Friday / Saturday, and whilst tomorrow I'm doing an office move, today I've been left to my own devices by my work colleagues, currently I can see five pasty white (with a red tinge) englishmen (assumption) pretending to do syncronised swimming whilst their beers get warm in the sun.... It's 34 degrees out so going for a walk is not really an option, went to the Mall of the Emirates shopping mall which also houses ski Dubai and while impressive and -3 inside, I don't / can't ski or snowboard, of course had I known in advance that I would be at a lose end I could've booked in a lesson....

Shops in the three Malls I've been to while here are pretty much the same as you get anywhere in the world, all the same brands and identikit shops, also it's not that cheap, certainly the savings in comparison to rip-off Britain are neglible, of course if I was in the market for gold, diamonds or a car then there would be savings to be had.

The only advantage to being here at the weekend is that when I walk up to the office in a few minutes there is less chance of me becoming road kill.
