Well after a quiet couple of months on the work travel front, here I am in Dubai for the second time this year, the bright side this time around was that with the demise of SilverJet I was back flying out of LHR on VAA which meant I spent a relaxing couple of hours in the Club House before sleeping the whole way here in Upper Class Suite, think the only words I exchanged with the crew was as I was

So an early start this morning as I head up to Manchester for the day, with the alarm going off at 0500 (I guess Lara was probably just heading out for a run then!) and a quick drive to Euston for the 0620 train to "up norf"

So not a typo, but the strapline for the airline I'm currently flying back to LTN and yes that is the tag for "London" Luton International Airport and not my usual haunt of LHR.

So no real postings of note recently, not that any of the post postings have been that note worthy...

So with much fanfare and no doubt expense St. Pancras International was opened last week and earlier this week the Eurostar moved from it's home at Waterloo (side note: the old terminal is likely to be unused until the end of 2008, good planning there then) to the shiny new terminal, which isn't ready for operation in the slightest....

In Hong Kong with Mike visiting Dad, Jane and Amelie, all is good, will post more including photos later, right now, time to sleep...

In the US of A this week, been really busy (until now) and I'm looking forward to heading back home tomorrow, even if I do have to get up at 04:30 (EST) to catch my flight....
