Iona is two years old today, not really sure how that happened but time certainly flies.

She got some great presents and seemed to have loads of fun and we went down to Brighton for the afternoon, a spot of life and look at the fishes in the sea-life centre.

But seriously, two years old already...

So on Sunday we were in Windsor and with the weather being actually ok we asked Iona if she would like to feed the ducks, we've done it several times in Windsor and now that Iona realises it is something that isn't a one off and the duck-ducks will be there next time we don't have a tantrum when we leave....

So for the last few weeks^Wmonths Iona hasn't been enjoying her swimming lessons so much, she doesn't like going underwater and a few of the other activities that make up a Water Babies lesson.

So Saturday saw us taking our first trip to A&E with a Iona...

Walking down a sunny street in London three abreast saw Iona giggling away as she was getting arm swings... the count of 1. 2..... 3 would see Iona being gently swung forward as all kids enjoy, her giggling and then with her feet safely back on the ground, she would let go of our hands, sign "more" and the process would repeat.

So slight change of times for Iona's swimming on the weekends and so time to update my diary, for some reason my old recurring entry has disappeared...

So added in a new one.

is one year since Iona was born (@ 09:17 to be exact)

been a quick year filled with more laughter, more stress, more tears, more smiles and more changing of nappies than any previous year...

the time certainly flies.

So Sunday was the day that Iona and God were formally introduced as she was christened in in our local church (in fact so local it's 200 metres away) we'd met the vicar before and with the demand for christenings we were in the fortunate position where it would be just us in a private ceremony. (so no singing of hymns)

Yep, this evening I've been in charge of the bedtime routine for Iona, Octavia is out earning some pocket money at the local wine shop so it's all been down to me (well mostly)

...flies, today Iona is 9 months old...
